I sit at my computer,
as I've done before.
but I found a set of pictures,
of things I've never seen before.
Deep blue hills,
rolling in fog.
The sunset,
mixing the purples with smog.
The snow covered trees,
of some winterly wonderland.
I print them out,
place them on a stand.
And I look at my room,
drab in its green.
With nothing outside,
worthy to be seen.
And I think to myself,
where can I go.
I should set off to find them,
pictures in tow.
The quite streets,
covered in autumn leaves blown.
As if they were familiar,
you'll never feel alone.
I sit and I wonder,
what would I do.
If I could find,
these skies draped in blue.

so entirely grand.

So I think to myself,
let me take a jog.
To see what I can see,
and find what I can find.
Just maybe I'll spy that one single tree,
that will lead me back,
to these pictures I see.
